India, Aug. 10 -- The anticipation around the sequel for The Devil Wears Prada (2006) is at an all time high. While actors Anne Hathway, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt are reprising their iconic roles, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, BJ Novak and Pauline Chalamet have been roped in for supporting roles. However, the most recent addition seem to have caused some consternation among fans. Reports are suggesting that actor Sydney Sweeney has come aboard the project after clips of her exiting a trailer on the sets of the film in Manhattan, New York (US) emerged online. It is currently unknown whether the 27-year-old will have a full-fledged role or a cameo playing herself, but the reactions online were less than pleased. One user, surprised at the development, wrote, "Sydney Sweeney in The Devil Wears Prada was definitely not in my bingo card." Others, however more straightforward. "no no please this is most definitely not ur movie girl (sic)," one Instagram user comment. Meanwhile, an X user rued, "they could've cast a good actress with insanely good fashion for the devil wears prada and they cast sydney sweeney instead (sic)." The comments come after the actor, who recently launched a soap made "of my actual bathwater," was part of an ad campaign that many fans believed had racist undertones. HTC...
