In a recent Instagram post, the celebrity hairstylist shared the recipe for a simple hair mask that he swears by. And the best part is that it only requires two easily-available ingredients, kapur (camphor) and coconut oil. Camphor has antiseptic and antifungal properties, which helps against infections and inflammation. Additionally, it provides a cooling sensation when applied topically, helping soothe irritation and stimulate blood flow to the scalp, promoting healthy hair growth. Meanwhile, coconut oil contains lauric acid, which helps fight the growth of fungi and bacteria that contribute to dandruff. It is also rich in fatty acids, which provide deep conditioning.
