India, Aug. 25 -- Following the tragic death of assistant director Diego Borella, filming for Emily in Paris season five has reportedly resumed in Venice, Italy. The 47-year-old crew member died on set while preparing for a scene on August 22. Lily Collins was spotted filming on a boat with co-stars Ashley Park, Paul Forman, and Eugenio Franceschini just two days after the incident. The cast began shooting in Italy on August 15, with the season set to release on December 18. Diego reportedly collapsed around 7pm on Friday at the Hotel Danieli in Venice. According to Italian news outlets, on-set medical staff attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. While the official cause of death has not been confirmed, a local doctor suggested he likely suffered a sudden heart attack. The Venice health service confirmed the emergency call, stating, "Our ambulance arrived at 18.42 (on Thursday evening). Medics made attempts to resuscitate him. But in the end, all efforts proved fruitless. At around 19.30, he was pronounced deceased," as reported by The Independent. The show's producers have yet to comment on Diego's passing.
