Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve to helm the next James Bond film
India, June 27 -- The Dune filmmaker Denis Villeneuve has been brought on board to direct the next James Bond film. "Some of my earliest movie-going memories are connected to 007. I grew up watching James Bond films with my father, ever since Dr. No (1962) with (actor) Sean Connery. I'm a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he's sacred territory," Denis said, as reported by Variety.
Reflecting on his vision for the franchise, Denis added, "I intend to honour the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come.
