India, Jan. 12 -- A fter filing for divorce on December 30 last year, as reported by US Weekly, influencer Desmond Scott has found himself at the centre of fresh controversy after posting a statement (inset left) on his Stories on January 10. The note appeared to address allegations surrounding the end of his decade-long marriage to influencer Kristy Scott. His carefully worded remarks, including an admission of having "made choices", quickly sparked online speculation about whether he was acknowledging infidelity. In the post, Desmond opened up about his split from Kristy, writing, "I want to begin by apologising to Kristy, our family, and everyone who has been impacted by the public attention surrounding this situation." He added that he and Kristy "faced challenges and made sincere efforts to work through them," but after he told her he "wanted to separate" at the end of 2025, Desmond explained that he eventually "made choices that I am not proud of".
