India, May 3 -- The Pahalgam attack has angered every Indian, and rightfully so. The loss of 26 innocent lives has made India take strict action, even as reports come in about our pending retaliation towards Pakistan. And we have hit them right where it hurts - beginning with the entertainment industry. Blocking the release of Fawad Khan's Hindi comeback film Abir Gulaal in India, and now even the social media accounts of multiple Pakistani artistes, is a sign of how heavily their people and industry depend on our, specifically Bollywood's, resources and support. India's dominance over Pakistan in terms of entertainment has existed for decades now. The size of their industry, referred to as 'Lollywood', is a fraction of Bollywood's size. For instance, did you know that last year, India produced over 2,000 films, while Pakistan only made a fraction of this number? These facts and much more were explored by Sonal Kalra, Chief Managing Editor, Lifestyle & Entertainment, in the hero segment of her show, MiPhi presents The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra, this week. Episode 4 dropped on Friday across the YouTube channels of Hindustan Times, HT City, Hindustan and Livemint, and didn't leave anything out - right from Pakistan's actors finding work opportunities in India to tasting global fame because of the exposure. Even working with our superstars is a big deal for Pakistan's stars, as is evident in multiple interviews given by them over the years. By the end of the episode, you will walk away with enough lowdown that 'East or West, India is the best' wasn't just a song - it's something we all should believe in and be proud of. A new episode of MiPhi presents The Right Angle with Sonal Kalra drops every Friday at 7 pm across Hindustan Times, HT City, Live Hindustan and Livemint's YouTube channels. Don't miss it!htc...
