Choreographer denies cheating claims at Palaash-Smriti's wedding
India, Nov. 30 -- Amid growing rumours about their postponed wedding, cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palaash Muchhal have updated their Instagram bios with an evil eye emoji. The wedding was delayed due to health condition of Smriti's father, but the rumour mill claimed how Palaash cheated on her with the wedding choreographer.
Choreographers Nandika Dwivedi and Gulnaaz were linked to the rumours. On Friday Nandika issued claiming no involvement in the issue as she wrote: "Over the past few days, I've seen speculation about my involvement in a situation that has been deeply personal for other people. I want to address and clarify that the assumptions being made about me, particularly the idea that I played a role in disrupting anyone's relationship, are simply NOT true. It's extremely painful to watch a narrative form around something I had no part in, and even more difficult to see how quickly these stories grow without any basis in reality." Earlier Gulnaaz had clarified on Instagram that they are 'not involved', and urged people to stay respectful and not jump to conclusions.
On the wedding day, Smriti's father, Shrinivas was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli after he suffered heart attack-like symptoms. A day later, Palaash was hospitalised in Sangli and his mother told HT that he is close to Smriti's father and when he fell ill, Palaash postponed the wedding . Meanwhile, Smriti deleted all engagement and pre-wedding posts from Instagram. Palash's cousin Neeti Tak asked people not to judge him based on rumours, saying he's going through a difficult time.
