India, March 17 -- Over the weekend, the Chicago River in USA turned green for the St Patrick's Day celebrations. People lined the river and bridges to watch members of the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union Local 130 spray dye into the water, in a tradition that began 63 years ago. The dyeing precedes the annual parade. The dye is non-toxic, turning the river green for a few hours.
