Mumbai, March 15 -- The #MeToo movement that hit Indian shores last year raised several issues. One of them was intimate scenes in films and television. In Hollywood, there are intimacy directors who choreograph sex scenes. In what the makers are claiming as perhaps a first for Indian films, Celina Jaitly's comeback vehicle, short film A Tribute to Rituparno Ghosh: Season's Greetings, hired an intimacy supervisor for a lovemaking scene between Celina and debutant Azhar Khan. It was Celina's idea, and director Ram Kamal Mukherjee readily agreed. Celina, says, "After a journalist from a leading daily called me for my opinion on Hollywood getting intimacy supervisors on board for scenes that might be uncomfortable for male or female actors to perform, I discussed this with my producer Aritra Das and Shailendra Kumar and both agreed. After that I had a detailed conversation with my director and even he agreed to implement this to set a benchmark. I think this shows how Bollywood is slowly and steadily welcoming the change."...
