Celebrity nutritionist reveals the best foods to nourish hair naturally
India, March 27 -- For hair care, which is one of the most important aspects of self-care, most people rely either on artificial chemical products available in the market or opt for homemade remedies. Either way, the conversation is all about external application. However, there are hardly any people who consider eating right for their haircare.
In a recent Instagram post, celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar highlights how everyday foods can naturally nourish hair from within. She also points out that eliminating key food groups, especially carbohydrates, may actually contribute to hair fall rather than prevent it.

Seeds also play an important role in supporting hair growth. Rujuta highlights halim seeds in particular, noting that when consumed in their original form, they can benefit both hair and skin. She recommends having them in laddoos or kheer to get folic acid and other nutrients, while advising against consuming them raw with water early in the morning, as it may not be effective.
Along with diet, simple hair care practices still matter. Rujuta recommends oiling your hair at least once a week for about 30 minutes, combing it regularly, and minimising the use of chemical treatments....
