Can't wait to savour Indian curry: One We
India, Nov. 18 -- Driving in India may not be for the faint-hearted, but K-pop boy band OneWe was up for the challenge. On their first visit to India, the members were keen to drive down Mumbai's streets and sample Indian cuisine - the spicier, the better.
"Driving in India would be interesting," says Giuk, while bandmate Dongmyeong says, "I cannot wait to savour Indian curry."
At the third K-Town Festival in Mumbai on November 1, 2025, the quintet wowed the audience with layered vocals and dynamic instrumentals, prompting calls for an encore.
"Making a song is always tough, but seeing how much our fans enjoy it from the moment it's released gives us the strength to keep writing and performing," says Kanghyun.
Reflecting on the band's chemistry Harin says, "Our members express their emotions through lyrics and while the sound may change in many ways, but I think what doesn't change is how they always manage to keep their own nuance and colour."
K-pop's global rise and India's growing market show that music is borderless, says lead vocalist Yonghoon. "Even though our songs are in Korean, seeing
international fans sing along gives me great satisfaction," he wraps....
