India, Jan. 2 -- F ans of K-pop group BTS rang in New Year 2026 with the best possible surprise as the band officially confirmed its long-awaited return. On January 1, BTS's company, BigHit Music, announced that the group will release a new album on March 20, marking their first full-group release in over three years. Their last album as a complete group was the anthology Proof (June 2022), after which the members stepped away to fulfill South Korea's mandatory military service. The comeback date had been teased earlier through handwritten New Year letters sent to ARMY, BTS's global fanbase, both physically and online. Alongside messages expressing gratitude for fans' support, the letters featured the date 2026.03.20, subtly signalling the group's return. BigHit Music also confirmed that BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour following the album's release. Further details regarding the album and tour are expected to be announced at a later date. Jin, the eldest member of the group, wrote in his letter to fans, "I greeted you all as a soloist in 2023 and 2024, but I can finally greet you as part of a team again. Thank you so much for waiting." Group leader RM echoed the excitement, writing, "Finally, finally, finally... I've missed you all!! Bangtan is coming. BTS is coming!!" HTC...
