BTS' RM shares first video behind the wheel, after years of driving jokes

apper-songwriterKim Nam-joon aka RM of South Korean boy-band BTS, set social media abuzz on Wednesday after sharing a video of himself driving. While the clip itself appeared simple, it quickly went viral among fans, given RM's long-known hesitation around getting behind the wheel.
Soon after posting the video, he shared a screenshot of a text exchange with his mother, who jokingly questioned whether it was really him driving or AI-generated. RM captioned it in Korean: "Mom, this is not AI."
In the video, RM appears relaxed and content in the driver's seat as music plays in the background. The moment is particularly significant as he only received his driver's licence in December last year, at the age of 31. During a livestream at the time, he revealed he didn't plan to buy a car immediately but wanted to get his licence to "overcome my own trauma."
Back in a 2016 live broadcast, he had also shared that fellow BTS member Suga once jokingly told him not to drive "for the peace of the world." HTC...
