Mumbai, March 17 -- Sourabh Raj Jain has previously portrayed the role of various Hindu mythological Gods in TV shows. The actor risked his goody-two-shoes image to play the sinister King Dhananand in Chandragupta Maurya. Apparently, the actor did a breakthrough makeover for the same. Talking about playing the antagonist, Sourabh says, "Hero is the one who gives hope; fight all odds, gives justice. He's the protector of his clan and community. So, he's the source of inspiration and the viewers get attached to him. So, an actor who plays the protagonist already has a strong role with powerful dialogues, but everything would just fall flat if an actor is unable to carry this responsibility without conviction. However, no matter how good the hero, if the villain fails, and the hero also fails then the entire drama falls flat. The bigger the villain, the mightier the hero."...
