India, Nov. 25 -- Healthcare in Pune gets a boost with the new Apollo Hospitals' quaternary care facility opening its doors in Swargate. The hospital, Apollo's third in Maharashtra, will start with 250 beds in the first phase and scale up to 400 beds.

Dr Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson called the Pune hospital a continuation of Apollo's legacy of clinical excellence, aimed at better access and quality for patients in the city.
Dr Suneeta Reddy, Managing Director described the hospital as a strategic move into one of India's growing healthcare markets, bringing Apollo's integrated health ecosystem and high-end quaternary care closer to communities in Western India.
Dr Madhu Sasidhar, Group CEO and President highlighted the safety science and evidence-based practice at the facility's core with a culture that keeps patients at the centre of every decision. Dr Manisha Karmarkar, CEO, said that the new hospital will support the growth and well being of a city that is shaping India's future as a centre of technology and innovation.
With more than 100 critical care beds, level III neonatal and paediatric ICUs, modular operating theatres, premium accommodations and a multidisciplinary team of internationally trained specialists delivering technology-enabled care, Apollo Hospitals, Pune will also serve as a regional reference centre for complex care setting a benchmark in healthcare in Pune and across Western India....
