Aarti seeks Rs.40L monthly maintenance as divorce battle with Ravi intensifies
India, May 23 -- The long-drawn divorce battle between Tamil actor Ravi Mohan and his estranged wife Aarti Ravi took a dramatic turn this week, with both parties appearing before the 3rd Additional Family Welfare Court in Chennai. The couple, who have been married for 15 years, have made headlines in recent months with their public statements and cryptic social media posts - fuelling speculation and gossip about the breakdown of their marriage.
Ravi, who filed for divorce in September 2024 citing irreconcilable differences, reiterated in court that reconciliation was not possible and that he was seeking a legal separation. The hearing, presided over by Judge Thenmozhi, has been adjourned to 12 June.

Shortly after their public appearance, Aarti issued a strongly worded note on Instagram on May 20, indirectly referencing Kenishaa. While she did not name her, Aarti alleged that a "third person" had come between her and Ravi, contradicting Ravi's own claims. "Money, power, interference or control - none of these are why our marriage suffers," she wrote. "There is a third person in our marriage. What broke us wasn't something between us - it was someone outside. The 'light of your life' brought only darkness to ours. That's the truth."
