India, Sept. 21 -- Global India Couture Week (GICW) made a grand return with its 2025 edition. After five successful and trend-setting editions in Delhi, the move to Mumbai marks a bold new chapter for the couture showcase. As the premier platform for creative dialogue, trade, and collaboration between regional and international brands and buyers, GICW celebrates design excellence from around the world while nurturing both emerging and established talent. Under the dynamic leadership of Managing Director Satyajit Mohanty and Operational Director Dr Sidharth Behera, GICW 2025 cements its position as India's first-ever platform to roll out the red carpet for International designers to showcase alongside the creme de la creme of Indian couture. The ongoing fashion show, which began from September 18, will be on till September 21, 2025 at the iconic Nesco Centre, Goregaon East in Mumbai. Fashion designer Rohit K Verma raised the curtain with his Mystical Garden, a world where fantasy met couture, and every silhouette bloomed with drama and artistry. With the charismatic the Maniesh Paul and the ethereal Diana Penty as his showstoppers. Gayatri's collection was graced by showstopper Lekha Ranapati, while Sangeeta from Ann Corner and Amit Shah of Batter Hardware Studio impressed with their distinctive presentations. Nitin Singh's collection featured actor Amit Dholawat as the showstopper, followed by the elegant showcase of Naveen Kumar. Lucilia Couture brought a touch of refined international flair, and Manali Jagtap, presented by Dr Tvacha, dazzled with Daisy Shah turning showstopper. Students of NIFD + Gift Design Academy exhibited excellence. Saisha Shinde unveiled her bold creations with the stunning Deepti Gujral on the ramp, and the evening culminated with Ken Ferns' grand showcase, adding a glamorous finale to the day.
