'There is pressure to get it all right'
India, Nov. 11 -- British actor Millie Bobby Brown was catapulted to global fame for portraying Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things. With the release of the fifth and final season this month, she feels a rush of emotions as she talks to us: "It's surreal, I'm feeling blessed and honoured at being part of such an amazing show for so many years."
At 21, she's married and a mum to her adopted daughter, but Millie debuted at 12 and practically grew up in front of the camera. "It was definitely challenging. There is pressure to get it all right. And if you look really closely, you could pick anyone's life and them apart," the actor admits.
But she is grateful for support in the form of her co-stars Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin. She shares, "We were in it together, I'm very lucky to have got that support."
These friendships are the biggest takeaway for her: "Noah is my best friend. Every friendship I walk into, I compare to my friendship with him... We love each other so immensely and unconditionally. And I think that's the key. It's like no matter what we go through and what happens, we're in it to the end together."
Adding how rare it is to find such true support in showbiz, Millie says, "The industry can jade you; you're constantly questioning people's intentions. But when it comes to Noah, I never question where something's coming from. His motives are always pure and loving."...
