India, Sept. 22 -- The festive season officially kicks off today, with the onset of Navratri, and actor Nitanshi Goel couldn't be more excited. "Navratri has come, so celebration mode has begun - my favourite time of the year has started," she tells us. Ask why the nine days of Navratri are so dear to her and she replies, "It is about celebrating the strength of femininity and new beginnings. These nine days have always been about positivity, togetherness and celebrating with my family." What's she looking forward to the most? "Going to pandals to seek blessings from Durga Maa and the Garba nights are my favourite," says the 18-year-old, before admitting that she likes to take charge when it comes to clothes and choreography. "I am the person who dresses as per the colour of the day, makes sure everyone in our group is colour-coded and even the one who choreographs our dances. I also have a Navratri playlist with all garba songs," she laughs. Having grown up in Noida, the actor acknowledges that the celebrations are very different in Mumbai, where she now lives. "In Noida, pandal visits were more about devotion and prayers. But my first Navratri in Mumbai, I remember how everyone in my society would come down to dance and celebrate together. I suddenly became a part of something that is bigger than all of us," she says, adding that her fans make the season more special. "It's beautiful, because when I step out to celebrate, I have an extended family of fans. The excitement of the celebration has truly kicked in," she ends....
