'My main mission is to win the title for India'
India, June 1 -- Shubham Sharma, who will be representing India at Mister Supranational 2025 later this month, calls the opportunity an "honour and a privilege". He reveals, "I always wanted to join the Indian Army and I also prepared for it in 2023. Now representing the country as Mr India feels like part of my dream has come true. My main mission is to win the title for India; it's been a long time since we won."
Shubham entered pageantry after a failed attempt at clearing the Armed Forces exam. While disappointed, he won the event on his first try. Now, he wants to create a positive impact: "I want to help underprivileged children. Through my Ground Up project (a Mister Supranational initiative), called Kickstart Dreams, I want to give children access to sports and a community where they can flourish. I'm also a fitness trainer, so I also want to promote fitness."
While India did not place in recent editions of the international pageant, the 24-year-old is optimistic about his chances.
"India had been out of form at the pageant for the last two editions, but I am sure this year will change that," Shubham insists. Ask about his plans post his Supra journey and he replies, "I always wanted to be a model, but I want to pursue acting, too. I want to play characters that connect with people."...
