'It's time for you to rep the whole of India right here'

here are concerts, and then there are nights that feel like shared electricity. On Wednesday at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Travis Scott delivered the latter. Returning with his CIRCUS MAXIMUS World Tour after back-to-back Delhi shows last month, the Grammy-nominated rapper turned his set into a full-force sonic spectacle.
The crowd erupted from the moment he took the stage. The grounds shifted into a mosh-like surge, thousands chanting every lyric, phones in the air, bodies reacting on instinct. The night opened with Canadian rapper NAV, whose high-energy set, especially Lemonade, primed the audience. But when Travis arrived, the atmosphere sharpened instantly.
His setlist hit every pressure point: Sicko Mode, Goosebumps, Highest in the Room, Butterfly Effect, Antidote and a repeatedly demanded FE!N, which he performed four times because the crowd refused to let it end. While some were left wanting more from the hour-long set, the audience stayed locked in from the first beat to the last. At one point, Travis scanned the crowd and shouted, "We in Mumbai and this s**t already lit. It's time for you all to rep for the whole of India right here." Mamacita became a glowing wave as thousands of phone lights filled the arena.
A standout moment came when he pulled four fans on stage during Smoke Some, Drink Some, Pop One and Night Crawler. One held up a "Stormi for President 2040" sign (she is the daughter of Travis and Kylie Jenner); another arrived in a sherwani, a nod to Travis's "Travis-wali Diwali" joke during the Delhi shows.
As the night closed, the crowd, which saw a slew of celebs including social media personality Orry, singer Kanika Kapoor, among others, was left with hoarse voices and the sense that Mumbai had just witnessed something seismic....
