Sri Lanka, April 22 -- From April 22 to 26, the United States Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and Sri Lanka Navy will join forces for the Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Sri Lanka 2024 exercise in Trincomalee.

According to the US Embassy in Colombo, CARAT Sri Lanka will see the collaboration of the U.S. Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team (FAST) with their counterparts from the Sri Lanka Navy Marine unit. This partnership will cover a wide range of naval capabilities, emphasizing security and anti-terrorism measures for naval assets.
