Sri Lanka, March 21 -- A member of an underworld gang who was transporting heroin and Kerala Ganja in a car in Nawagamuwa - Kaduwela has been taken into custody.

The Police Special Task Force said that the suspect is a close associate of 'Mole Chaminda' who is a main accomplice of 'Angoda Lokka' who is at present in custody in Dubai.

At the time the suspect was arrested, approximately 2 kilos of Kerala Ganja and 650 grams of Heroin which were in the vehicle were taken into Police custody.
