Sri Lanka, Sept. 28 -- Police have arrested a three-wheeler driver and another person who were abducting a mother of two.

They were abducting the woman in a three wheeler last night and had fallen into the canal on Havelock Road in Galle.

Our correspondent stated that the police later rescued her and arrested the suspects.

The abduction took place while she was waiting for her husband. The suspects arrested were residents of the Poddala area.
