Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- The Department of Irrigation states that the water levels of the Kelani River and Attanagalu Oya are rising due to the prevailing inclement weather condition. The water levels in the Kelani River have risen from Nagalagam Street, Hanwella and Glencoast areas and therefore the department informs the people living in the lowlands in these areas to be vigilant. The people living in the low-level areas of Negombo, Ja-Ela, Katana, Minuwangoda, Gampaha and Attanagalla Divisional Secretariat areas are also advised to be vigilant as the levels in the Attanagaloya and Dunamale areas have increased to a slight flood level.
