STF opens fire at a cab in Jaffna
Sri Lanka, April 16 -- Two persons were injured when Special Task Force (STF) officers opened fire on a cab at a roadblock in the Point Pedro area in Jaffna this morning (16).
Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that they had tried to endanger the police officers who were at the roadblock.
The two persons who were injured in the shooting by the STF escaped and admitted themselves to the Point Pedro Hospital.
They were arrested by the Police and the suspects were aged 23 and 26. The Police Media Spokesman further stated that investigations are being carried out to find the cab involved in the incident.
