Sri Lanka, Nov. 30 -- Sri Lanka Transport Board Chairman Kingsley Ranwaka stated that the operations of the SLTB buses have resumed as usual.

Following the relaxing of isolation restrictions in Mattakuliya, Pettah, Negombo, Ragama and Foreshore, he added that the operations have resumed as well.

He added that in SLTB buses have been deployed to operate in areas where there is a lack of private buses for the convenience of the passengers.

Speaking further, he remarked that passengers will not be allowed to climb aboard the bus or get down in areas where isolation restrictions are still in effect. He commented further that SLTB buses were advised not to halt at bus stops located in isolated areas as well.
