Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Shops in the Hatton town reopened today (31) following a four-day isolation of the town with the finding of 11 Covid-19 patients.

The public fair in the town will remain closed, according to instructions given by chairman of Hatton-Dickoya urban council S. Balachandran.

However, stall owners at the fair went against the instructions and opened their stalls this morning.

The UC's public health inspector R.R.S. Medawela and stall owners had a heated argument when the PHI ordered them closed until further notice.
