Sri Lanka, Jan. 24 -- A woman was killed in a shooting incident in the Pitakumbura area in Bibile.

The police media unit stated that two others were also injured in the shooting.

The shooting had taken place at around 8.30 pm last night and preliminary investigations have revealed that the murder had taken place due to an escalation of a family dispute.
