Sri Lanka, Jan. 24 -- Schools in the Western Province will open for GCE Ordinary Level students from tomorrow. This will be only for the GCE O/L students.

Schools are open in other parts of the country excluding Western province subject to certain restrictions.

Schools in the Western Province will not be open for other classes due to the spread of the coronavirus and the Ministry of Education has decided to reopen those schools targeting only GCE Ordinary Level students.

Accordingly 907 out of 1576 schools in 11 education zones in the Western Province will be open for O / L students from tomorrow.
