Sri Lanka, Jan. 20 -- Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Sumith Wijesinghe stated that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation was able to save US $ 300 million last year due to the fall in the price of a barrel of crude oil in the world market.

He was addressing a meeting of the COPE Committee in Parliament yesterday to discuss the special audit report on the storage and distribution of petroleum.
