Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- An open warrant has been issued for the arrest of an accountant and his wife who had fled to a foreign country after defrauding over 300 million rupees.

This was based on the information presented by the CID to court when the case was taken up before Colombo Additional Magistrate Bandara Nelumdeniya yesterday.

The CID informed the court that a red notice against the two suspects have to be also obtained through the Interpol.
