Sri Lanka, Feb. 14 -- Multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos has divested more of his Amazon shares, amounting to a total value exceeding $4 billion in recent days. The technology titan, who founded Amazon in 1994 and serves as its executive chair, has sold 24 million shares this month alone, marking his first share sales since 2021.

Earlier this month, Amazon disclosed Bezos's intention to sell 50 million shares over the next year, valued at approximately $8.4 billion at current market prices. The first tranche of 12 million shares was announced in a regulatory filing on Friday, followed by an additional 12 million shares announced on Tuesday.
