Sri Lanka, June 24 -- Inspector General of Police Pujith Jayasundera who has been sent on compulsory leave arrived at the Supreme Court today again to be present at the hearing of the fundamental rights petition he filed against his being sent on compulsory leave.

It was on May 29 that Pujith Jayasundera filed this petition at the Supreme Court stating that sending him on compulsory leave was illegal.

He has named a group of persons including the Constitutional Council as respondents.
