India, May 10 -- Angel City FC defender Savy King is currently hospitalized after collapsing on field during the 2nd half of the team's 2-0 win over Utah Royals FC Friday.

The team provided an update, stating, "Savy was transported by EMS to the hospital following a medical event on the field. She is responsive and undergoing further evaluation. We thank everyone for their concern and support."
