Vijay sharpens attack at Stalin in Vellore rally ahead of polls
Vellore, Feb. 24 -- TVK chief Vijay on Monday sharpened his attack on Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin, alleging that the DMK president's "real friends are bribery and corruption" and declaring that the upcoming assembly polls would be "a war between Vijay and Stalin."
Addressing party functionaries in Vellore, considered a DMK stronghold, the actor-politician said: "Vijay and the people of Tamil Nadu can't be separated. We are like flesh and blood." He asked voters to choose between "Vijay, who loves the people," and "Stalin sir, who runs an anti-people regime."
He described TVK as a "pure force" and the DMK as an "evil force," asserting that despite multiple parties aligning against him, the real contest was between the DMK and TVK.
