New Delhi, Sept. 12 -- The AAP on Wednesday said that it has appointed a US-based party worker, Sreekanth Kocharlakota, who is a software engineer by profession, as the co-convener of the party's overseas wing.

Kocharlakota, who has been an AAP volunteer since the party was formed, played an active role in campaigning for the party during the municipal elections in Delhi in 2017, the party said in a press statement.

Currently, the other overseas co-conveners of the party are Prithvi Reddy, a Bangalore-based entrepreneur who is also the state convener of the party in Karnataka and Delhi MLA Adarsh Shastri.
