Chandigarh, March 30 -- Three labourers were crushed to death another injured after a house under repair collapsed in village Pharwahi in Punjab's Barnala in early hours on Sunday, police said. The labourers were sleeping at the site and were crushed under the debris, Sadar SHO Jagjit Singh confirmed, adding that the house owner had given the repair work of the house to a contractor. Police said the incident took place at around 4.15 am on Sunday, when the workers were sleeping inside at the site. The structure reportedly caved-in, trapping them inside.
