India, March 30 -- New Delhi: Two days after a 27-year-old man was arrested from Asansol in West Bengal for kidnapping, raping and brutally murdering a five-year-old girl in Delhi's Bawana, the police said that the accused had been planning the crime and his escape for days.

On March 24, the accused allegedly lured the minor to an abandoned factory, where she was raped, bludgeoned to death with a brick, and her throat was slit. Her body was hidden inside another factory, and was only found three days later when the accused was arrested, police said.
