Sunetra files papers, Sena (UBT) extends its wishes
BARAMATI, April 7 -- Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sunetra Pawar filed her nomination for the April 23 Baramati bypolls on Monday, with Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut extending his best wishes to the NCP. He, however, said the final decision on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) support would be taken by party chief Uddhav Thackeray.
The development comes a day after the Congress fielded its own candidate, Akash More, who too filed his nomination on Monday.
The poll was mandated after the death of former NCP chief and Sunetra's husband Ajit Pawar.
