New Delhi, March 16 -- Speaker Om Birla wrote to leaders of all political parties in the Lok Sabha, raising concernsover the conduct of some MPs within the House and the Parliament House Complex. "For some time now, the dignity and prestige of our parliamentary democracy have been compromised by certain honourable members within the chamber and in the Parliament House complex," Birla wrote. He criticised the display of banners, placards and posters in the House, as well as the language and behaviour of some MPs, calling the situation a matter of "grave concern".
