Bengaluru, May 20 -- The sister of a woman, who was killed by her stalker in Hubballi district of Karnataka, attempted to die by suicide, her family members said on Sunday, adding that the 18-year-old took the step as she believed that they won't get justice in the case.
On May 14, a 20-year-old woman was stabbed to death by 21-year-old Girish Savant after she rejected his marriage proposal. The accused fled from the spot but was caught on May 17 after he tried to attack another woman on board a train. He jumped from the moving train after other passengers tried to overpower him. He was arrested by the Hubballi Police and admitted to a hospital for treatment.
