Sibal: silence over attack on Iran may hit India's economic future
New Delhi, March 22 -- India's silence over the destruction of Iran will destroy the country's economic future and respect before the world, senior advocate and Rajya Sabha lawmaker Kapil Sibal said on Saturday, criticising the government's stand on the conflict in West Asia.
"While people are being killed and targeted, India is silent. May I say that this silence is actually very eloquent? This silence tells us that we are on the side of those who have attacked Iran," Sibal said, during a press conference in the national capital.
