Pune, May 3 -- PuneA 65-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing and killing three-and-a-half-year-old girl in Pune district, police said on Saturday, as the incident sparked protests in the area. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis said the government will seek capital punishment for the suspect and that the case will be heard in a fast-track court.
The accused, a labourer, allegedly lured the girl on Friday and took her to a cattle enclosure where he raped her and then hit her with a stone, said police. P6
