India, April 8 -- ]Several private hospitals running Covid-19 vaccination centres (CVCs) in Ghaziabad have run out of doses. Many of them have put up sign boards saying they are "out of vaccine stock". District administration officials, however, maintained that there was no shortage of vaccines, while sources in the health department pressed for streamlining the process.
"We had only a few doses of vaccine available on Monday and they were administered. We don't have any more stock available with us. The beneficiaries have to return, and we have also put up a notice that vaccine is not available with us. We have already made payment for the vaccine stock," said Dr Shakeel Ahmad, administrative officer from LYF Hospital in Indirapuram.
