India, March 20 -- A group of scientists from the UK has created an archive of ancient human brains, some dating back to 12,000 years. They published a study about brains that have been naturally preserved for hundreds and thousands of years. This remarkable discovery challenges the conventional notion of brain decay and shows how this organ can resist decomposition far more than previously perceived. The brain decomposes shortly after death, but not in these cases.
