PM inaugurates 2 Metro extns, lays foundation for 3 corridors
New Delhi, March 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated two new Metro corridors in the Capital and laid the foundation stone for three new upcoming corridors under Phase V-A of the Delhi Metro expansion, which will add 16.1 kilometres to the Metro network.
The Prime Minister opened a 12.3km section of the Pink Line extension, from Majlis Park to Maujpur-Babarpur, and a 9.9km section of the Magenta Line extension, from Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park. They were opened to the public at 3pm.
