New Delhi, March 30 -- The Congress is likely to announce its manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on April 5 in New Delhi and follow it up with rallies across the country, starting with Jaipur on April 6, a senior functionary said on Friday.

The event in Delhi is expected to see the top three leaders - Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, party's parliamentary head Sonia Gandhi and former party chief Rahul Gandhi - releasing the manifesto that hinges on five set of guarantees -one each for women, youngsters, farmers, workers and social justice.

The party will use the tagline "Haath Badlega Halaat" (The hand - a reference to the party's poll symbol - will change the situation) in the polls.
