New Delhi, May 3 -- Minister of state for external affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh will head the Indian delegation in the second International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) being held under the UN General Assembly in New York during May 4-8.
Singh will deliver India's statement at the plenary session of the IMRF, the external affairs ministry said while announcing the visit. India will also organise a side event "Leveraging digital innovation in migration governance - The e-Migrate experience of India" on the margins of the IMRF.
The IMRF serves as the primary inter-governmental global platform to discuss and share progress in implementing the Global Compact on Migration and its intersection with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). htc
