Chandrapur/Raipur, April 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday held the Congress responsible for all ills plaguing the country, saying the party overlooked needs of the poor for decades since Independence and never understood their pain, as he held two rallies in Chandrapur in Maharashtra and Bastar in Chhattisgarh ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Campaigning for the BJP, Modi said the general elections were a fight between stability and instability, and accused the opposition INDIA bloc of seeking power only to indulge in corruption.
